US Sailing Basic Race Management Seminar

Instructor is Becky Ashburn.The seminar consists of ONE In-Person session on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.The seminar will be held at Oceanside Yacht Club, 1950 Harbor Dr N, Oceanside, CA.
There is plenty of parking next to the yacht club. Participants just need to avoid parking in spots marked for slip renters.
There is approximately 90-120 minutes of REQUIRED pre-course work prior to the In-Person session. Attendance is required to complete and pass the course.
About 10 days before your course begins, you will receive an email from US Sailing inviting you to participate in the course through Canvas, US Sailing’s online learning platform. Please click the “Get Started” link to complete your profile and access the required course materials.
The lead instructor will email you with additional course information.
US Sailing Course Registration Fee: $40. A discounted US Sailing special introductory US Sailing membership is available for first-timers during the registration process.
The club will provide a continental breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. After the course, participants can purchase dinner at the club if they wish to hang around.
Registration closes Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Walk-In registrations are not allowed.
