On the third Tuesday of each month, OYC juniors and their family members are invited to attend an evening meal followed by an activity or guest speaker. Dinner is set for 5:30-6:00 followed by a presentation from 6:00-7:00.
Topics focus on maritime related skills such as
- weaving a shackle,
- top level keelboat racing
- celestial navigation,
- VHF radio usage,
- marine research,
- whipping line, and
- many more topics.
There is a nominal fee ($5.00 individual or $10.00 family) to cover food costs. Let us know about any special food requirements you may have.
