Recreational Sailing at OYC

Sometimes there's nothing better than a warm afternoon spent cruising around the harbor. At OYC, our goal is to make sailing accessible to everyone with an itch to get on the water. We offer a variety of programs suited to the sailor who enjoys sailing as a pastime.

Boat Checkouts

One unique benefit to OYC is that we allow qualified members aged 12 and up to check out the club's boats in accordance with our boat checkout policy.

It's common for middle and high school aged sailors to meet up at the clubhouse to go sailing with their friends and fellow sailors.

To check out a boat, send an e-mail to juniors@oceansideyc.net. Qualified skippers will receive a code to the OYC lock-box for access to the shed and docks.
