Latest Covid-19 Update 7/10/20 from Commodore Mallaby

Dear Members,

Well it’s two steps forward one step back…

The county is only allowing outdoor dining for restaurants. But fear not, I will not close the club again unless ordered to do so. We have moved all the tables from the bar area onto the deck with appropriate spacing and can serve 33 members on the deck. Vice Commodore Hecht is organizing a way to set up more tables for outdoor service on the concrete areas under the deck that should be pretty cool. However, along with limited seating come limited access. Until the outdoor only dinning order is lifted we will be limiting access to the club and outdoor dinning to members only.

OYC will also begin to offer take out service for all harbor users to order a meal and drinks and pick it up from the back steps. We think this will be a big success. We are happy to serve the harbor needs for take away but can’t for sit down dinning…

Masks are required when moving to your table and in the club. You can remove them when at your table.

Thanks for your continued cooperation, we can do this, we can be safe.
